7 Times Bollywood Movies Gave Us Some Serious Friendship Goals !

Many Bollywood movies have released in past years that revolved on friendship and few remain in our hearts. These movies totally changed our perspective about friendship in this century. In addition these movies gave us some serious friendship goals to achieve too.

These Bollywood classics were eye openers to us which changed our view towards friendship.

1.Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

As we all know, Dil chahta Hai was the debut movie of Farhan Akhtar as a director which went on to win many accolades and hearts in India. He broke all the conventional norms of film making and turned out to be the stylish director of Bollywood.

The movie depicts the lives of three best friends Akash Malhotra, Sidharth and Sameer with a musical venture. The movie is close to heart for many because, many had these kinds of friends in life, the one who falls in love at any point of life, and the ones that do not believe in love at all and with who you had misunderstandings.

The story definitely keeps you at the edge of the seat throughout the movie.

2.Ajnabee (2001)

Ajnabee is a movie that belongs to the genre of suspense-thriller. The movie also helped Akshay Kumar lose his tag of flop actor in Bollywood.

The story is about a couple(Raj and Priya) who move to Switzerland and befriend another couple(Vikram and Sonia) who are settled there. Soon their friendship becomes very strong, Tables turn over when Raj is convicted of Sonia’s murder. These events causes a drift in Raj and Vikram’s friendship.

The movie definitely tells us to choose our friends wisely.

3. Rang De Basanti (2006)

Rang De Basanti has gained its cult-success over the past years. An English woman comes to India with an intention of making a Documentary. Therefore she seeks the help of six friends.

But their thoughts and lives change during the making of the documentary and when they lose their beloved friend who is an Indian Air Force pilot.

4. Rock on! (2008)

The film marks debut of Farhan Akhtar as an Actor and Singer. The story of a group of friends who are part of their own college band. Most of all the misunderstanding that lead to the dissolution of the band. The story then continues to how after years they come together to finish some unfinished business.

5.  3 Idiots (2009)

Rajkumar Hirani has proven his mettle with this piece of work. As a result the movie turned out to be not only a Box office success but also a cult success.

It tells a great story of three friends who study in a reputed college and their journey and their perspectives of life. The movie depicts the story of 2 friends who are on a journey in search of their old friend who has left them for reasons that the two friends recall in their journey in search of him.

In conclusion the movie is simple yet wonderful because most often the things shown in the movie are very familiar to us because of which we get the feeling of Déjà vu.

6. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

Zoya Akhtar definitely sets a benchmark for Indian film makers. ZNMD has amused us with its story of three friends The Workaholic, Confused with life and the one into family business. These three meet after a long time when one of them decides to get married.

Furthermore the story gradually reveals many sub-plots in scenic locations with addition of few adventure sports that is new to the Indian audience.

7. Kai po che (2013)

Kai po che is the adaption of Chetan Bhagat’s novel The 3 mistakes of my life. While three friends turn Business partners when they open a sports store, but destiny has something else for them when the store they buy is destroyed in an Earthquake.

Consequently the film then shows the rift in their friendship due to religious, social and economical issues in their day to day life.
